Public health researchers at the University of Michigan completed a new COVID-19 study that sheds light on virus transmission pathways. They monitored the SARS-CoV-2 virus in samples collected from air and surfaces in public spaces. Results show that air transmission of the virus is 1,000 times higher than surface transmission.
